hunter carter
a DC native, began his dance training at 17. Shortly thereafter, he entered the program for dance and choreography at Virginia Commonwealth University and received his B.F.A from VCU Dance in 2006. Hunter has studied with an array of master teachers, dance companies, and choreographers. He has danced for Edgeworks Dance Theater (DC), INSPIRIT Dance Company (NY), and is entering his first season with El Teatro de Danza Contemporanea de El Salvador. He was a scholarship student at the 2005 American Dance Festival and has had his own work presented at VCU and the ADF.
